He was laying in his bed dead. The murder was never solved. And up to this day you can hear him if you go to the top off Ladd Hill moaning. And if you go to the house late at night, which is on the corner of Ladd Hill road and old Ladd Hill road you may see his ghost struggling with his murderer.
