There is a house on Rt 28 heading towards Wolfboro. It sits on a little pond. It has been bought and abandoned many times and now sits empty falling apart. I've heard rumors that the people who bought and later abandoned this house were so scared they just wanted nothing to do with it.
I'm hoping someone out here knows more about this house and is willing to share what they know.
