I looked around and I saw a man in a full suit standing on the roof of a white house to my right. He stood there for a few seconds and I called out to him to ask if he needed any help. He had a strange aura around him and then smiled.
I called out again but he just stared at me with blank eyes. I ran around to the side of he house but when I looked back on the top of the roof the man was gone. For the rest of the walk home I felt as though someone

was following me.

It was probably year 2000. I was coming back into downtown Exeter with a friend. Drove past the loaf towards the bandstand. As we approached the crosswalk area that crosses from the bridge toward what is now 'Me and Ollies' we stopped for a man that walked out into the street.
When my friend and I saw him we went dead silent. This man/ghost had a strange aura to him. His skin was jet white and was wearing very old fashion clothes that were all black, they looked tailored. His boots were old worn boots that fit the time period.
The man looks at us then proceeds to cross the road looking around, seeming to just be checking out the town. After my friend who was soiling his pants by this point takes off. With my insistent curiosity I make him turn around the band stand like 50 ft from where this just happened and the ghost is gone.
