The Amos J. Blake house Museum which is run by the FitzWilliam Historical Society was actually featured on the television show ''Ghost Hunters. '' this location has been investigated by at least 6 teams that I am aware of and in my opinion is probably haunted.
I recorded a disembodied voice had a cold spot sit on my shoulder and another investigator captured some photographs of mist. And it's a wonderful place to visit!.

I was an employee years ago at the ''FitzWilliam inn'', as a house keeper and breakfast server. One morning while cleaning rooms on the second floor I witnessed a woman in a dark skirt and light shirt go up the stairs to the third floor.
I kindly shouted from down the hall that check in time wasn't for another hour. When I follwed her around the corner and went upstaris myself I expected to see her. But no one was there. On many occasions I've also heard a rocking chair rocking on the third floor when no guests were present.
