My house in Hooksett has been haunted for coming up on 22 years. A man passed away in my living room a year before my mother purchased the house. Nobody really heard anything except the occasional footsteps up the stairs and maybe a door closing but that was all for about 8 years.
Then came Christmas eve so we set up some presents under the tree, later that night my entire family went to my grandparents house. The house was fully locked up, a few hours

later when we arrived home everything seemed normal 'til we came in and the cellar door was taken off the hinges laying on the floor and the tree and
|
presents were setup neatly on top of the door.
Everyone was freaked out but we got over it we kind of figured the guy was haunting the house. After this happened we began to hear someone walking up and down the stairs every night. About a year later me and my sisters were sleeping, my mom was going up to bed when she heard the footsteps again. The ghost had opened my bedroom door then closed it then she heard him go up the second flight of stairs
