I was leaning over my washing machine trying to grab a shirt that I was putting in the dryer when I got this feeling that someone was breathing down my neck. I quickly turned around but found nothing directly behind me. Instead, a black figure stood across the basement from where I was. When I blinked, it was gone. I ran up the stairs as quickly as I could.
The second big experience I had was almost a year later. It was summer and a family friend

was picking me up to bring his two kids and I to the teen center. I never shut the door behind me to the basement if I was home alone. I knew the dogs

were asleep on the couch and all of the windows were shut, it was too hot outside.
I ran downstairs and got dressed. When I started coming up the stairs, I noticed the door was shut behind me. I reached to open it but it was locked. I panicked and called my mom from my cell that I had with me. I was stuck in the basement for an hour until I built up the courage to go out my bulkhead into the backyard (I'm terribly afraid of the spiders in this area) which
