It was probably the early 1990s in the winter time. Myself and a few friends were spending the weekend in a house on a river that leads to Ossipee Lake. I woke up in the middle of the night and looked at the doorway leading into my bedroom. I saw two teenage girls standing in the doorway talking to each other although I could not hear what they were saying. I closed my eyes and said, ''This isn't real. I'm dreaming. Stay calm.'' When I opened my eyes

again, they were still looking at me and talking to each other. I then waved at them, and one of the girls waved back. At that point I jumped out of bed

and put the light on, and they were gone.

I was only 12. My mother was unaware of how unsafe I felt. We had just moved to Center Ossipee. My mother had given me this small room near the basement. I can remember it like yesterday. It was our first night in this big old but new house. I had just gotten in bed. My mother had shut out the light and shut the door. I tried to sleep, but I kept hearing humming. I got up and asked my mother to stop, but she was asleep. I thought nothing of it and went back to bed. I felt like I wasn't alone. I kept looking in this one corner of my room till I finally fell asleep.
I woke up in the middle of the night to the feeling of someone staring at and stroking my hair. When I awoke I saw a lady in a wedding gown looking down at me. She was all dirty and looked mad. I was afraid to scream. All I did was lie there quietly. The lady looked more upset than before at this and went and scratched. I screamed and my mother came in to see blood all over my bed. I had a huge scratch going across my stomach. I still have the scar to this day.
