It was 1996 I was 13. My grandfather had just passed away. It was the night after his funeral and I was in bed reading a book when I looked up because the door had opened. I looked up into the mirror and saw my grandfather's reflection.
I quickly under hid under my blankets. A year later I was spending the night in the same house (I had moved shortly before) and I was watching TV with my uncle when my grandfather's bedroom door had opened.
We heard

shuffling down the hall and the click of the light switch. The shuffling headed back down the hall and through the bedroom door. My grandfather always

shuffled his feet when he walked and used to yell at us because we would leave the hall light on.
