I grew up very close to Clough State Park. I actually just googled it because I expected to find more creepy stories and was surprised there isn't more about it online. I remember so many creepy stories from friends who saw and heard things on the trails behind the park. I believe there were several dead animals found by people visiting the park that looked as if they were killed in a sacrificial manner. There was something about animal carcasses being

found in a police log from 1997-2000. During that same time a close friend told me they had been mountain biking on the trails and came across what appeared

to be a goat head hanging from a tree.
Clough has also been the site of a few deaths. A long time ago there was a major flood that killed three people. In the 60s there were body parts and a torso belonging to a woman found at a dam in the park. When I was fifteen someone found a cooler in the park with a dismembered woman inside. I believe it was a man from Concord, NH who was convicted of murdering and disposing of his mother in that cooler.
