About 16 years ago the Bloomfield public library had a librarian named Donna who ultimately left to work at the West Orange library. One day near closing she beckoned my son and I to her desk when no one else was around. She told us that one night she was working alone after hours at her desk when no one else was there. In the wing to the right after you enter she twice heard the sound of a book crashing to the ground. After confirming that the room was empty she loudly announced that she had to do her work now and needed the noise to stop. It did stop. On another occasion she was alone in the basement of the children's library when she heard the sound of women's high heels on the floor. No one was there. She also told us that before her tenure there a few times people had been spotted on the upper level balcony after hours resulting in actual calls to the police. After checking the police found no one there.

Last week me and my dad were in my house when something called my name. I don't know what it was but then at 3:00 in the morning something went bang and my dad and uncle woke up and they went downstairs. My uncle saw something he says it was a ghost. I believe it was more than that because the people that lived here before us had killed themselves and I think it's paranormal. Ps it's near Memorial Park.
