My stepmother rented a house on Glenwild Avenue behind the Glenwild Garden Center. Back in the 1960s the land behind her house was wooded. I believe that it is now a golf course. She worked the evening shift at Chilton hospital at the time and reported that she came home at about midnight and often saw a white ''cloud'' that was moving through the woods. She said that the cloud (or whatever else you would like to call it) was about the size of a

large dog. It did not have a clearly defined edge, but she said it went from solid in the center to a more misty appearance at the edges. She could not
|
see through the center. She remembered these sightings as occurring over a several week long period in the winter of 1965 or 1966. On at least one occasion the object was located in the driveway fairly close to her house. She recalled that she rolled down the window of her 1961 Chevy Impala and told ''it'' to get out of the way because she was tired and wanted to go to bed, and it did move!
