Comment by Constance: I am a year round resident of Bradley Beach and the ponds between several towns are man made and don't empty into the ocean whatsoever. Also if you Billy were at one end of the bride and she was at the other, you would have to have unbelievable vision since from one side to the other is at least 165 feet, and you saw this in the dark? Also the bridges weren't even built back in the time of horse and carriages. I'm just thinking this is a ridiculous story submitted by a kid. Btw, the pond is directly across from my backyard. The reason why I believe you are a kid is because what adult man's father would go running after him after noticing that you Billy were missing from your bed? I believe in ghost and spirits and have had experiences. This is a bit far fetched, and I walk my German Shepherd especially at night when all the summer people are around! Great imagination though, and I don't believe a fishhook would kill someone, definitely take out their eye.

I was bored out of my mind at home so I decided to take a walk to the beach. When I got to the beach I saw a woman that was all white and she was smiling. I was so scared I ran home. While I was running home I heard a voice in my ear that said ''don't turn around''.

I turned around and I saw nothing but then I kept running and I bumped into something or someone.
