I've been living in this area for over 15 years and have had many encounters with ghost. I've lived on Pulaski Street in Carteret then moved to George Street. This house used to be a farm or some type of country type barn. I have seen a man and a woman who I feel haunt the house. One day my husband which is now my ex was in a deep sleep, and I heard him moaning. I woke him up, and he started to cry and told me a woman had a hold of him. We broke up shortly after. I have 2 daughters who often saw the man visit them but did nothing but watch them. The woman slapped me at one point and would actually move things when I walked around.

Well sometimes in my house I hear footsteps and everything. Sometimes voices and laughter like I will be sleeping and I will hear peoples footsteps coming up the stairs. One time I was trying to go to sleep and I heard footsteps and voices coming from downstairs!!!.

Comment by Dee: I live in an old house and we have always had a ghost. We like to think his name is Stanley. In the middle of the night you hear walking and the toilet flush.
