Manahawkin: I lived in Manahawkin NJ for 1 1/2 years now. I am a Christian. There are all types of spiritual activity. Not all are scary not all are bad. There are residual, there are intelligent, and then there are malicious (poltergeist) never play around with the spirit.

It can be a demon. And they can take on a disguise. You don't want that!!! Do not be afraid. Have a paranormal investigator (I recommend taps based in Rhode Island) arrive to the place to check it out.
