At times they had experienced cold spots in different rooms as well as the feeling that they were being watched. On one particular night my mother had awakened to see elderly men and woman standing around her and my father's bed. They were dressed in prairie styled suits and mid dresses and my mother recalls seeing one woman that was very short and heavy set. When she rolled over to wake up my sleeping father, the ghosts vanished.

of the freakiest things that happened to my family while residing in the house was the night my cousin was found hanged on the flagpole in the park right

down the street (anyone that lived in the town during the 1970s would remember hearing about this tragedy). My parents had a party and my cousin left the party angry and went for a walk. A few hours later my family found out he had been found hanged in the park. Though reports were made that multiple people were seen fighting at the park, my cousin's death was listed a suicide.
