I grew up in one of East Orange NJ's old Victorian homes. It was a large three-story home built in 1900. The home was extremely active with paranormal activity, most of which was witnessed by all of my family members. However, we never discussed what we each experienced until years after we were grown and out of the house.
No one slept in the bedrooms on the third floor, yet heavy booted footsteps were often heard at night pacing through the

rooms on that level. Shadows were seen exiting rooms from one door as one of us entered the room from another. People called us, and a man would answer
|
the phone when no one was home.
My great aunt lived across the street and often watched the house. Seeing shadows inside during school hours one day, she called to check to see who was home and why. The home was empty, but a man answered the phone saying we weren't home. I had strange reoccurring dreams of fleeing the house throughout the many years that I lived there. The dreams stopped once I moved out. In addition to other random unnatural,
