When I was a child (in the 1950s) my mother took me shopping at Neumeyer's (the old Edward Gibbs Tavern and now the King's Road Brewery). She frequently ran into an old friend who was also shopping there, and while they talked I'd roam around the store. I've always loved stationery, so you can imagine how I thought Neumeyer's was like Aladdin's cave. HOwever, for some reason I was a little uncomfortable in the area at the back of the store because I

always felt as though someone was watching me. It wasn't really scary, just creepy because I'd think someone was peeking at me, but when I turned around

to look no one would be there. So I'd give that part of the store a wide berth. Does this building have a reputation of being haunted?. Submitted by Beth

When I was about 3 years old my mom would sometimes go somewhere in the middle of the night and my dad usually came home really late. I got use to this. Until one night I woke up and saw an old man standing in my room.
