This was taken for a brochure for a non-profit located in High Bridge, New Jersey. High Bridge was settled in 1700, due to its location to iron ore, as a mining town. Later, it gained recognition as a steel and railroad community.
It was the home of Taylor Wharton, the longest operating privately owned company in the united states (circa 1742-1973). .

I lived most of my life in apartments at 53 Arch Street about 300 feet from this location. Wow also never knew we were a mining town for iron ore. Anyone know location of mine? By chance, was it off Mine Rd?.
