We were walking through one of the old cemetery on Halloween and we felt a slight breeze and we got freaked and went home to her house. I was sleeping over and we made a homemade oujia board and we asked it where it was from and it spelled out her Street and address we were so scared!.

Back in the fifties I was a child growing up in Lanoka Harbor. The make-up of the town then was quite different there even were postcards sold at the local marina with the towns name on them. Our house was on clairmore Avenue.

In the non-summer months the area was deserted. At night late you could hear and feel a galloping type sound outside every so often. Many a night was the distant sound of muffled music. In our house late at night there was a constant knocking noise coming from the front of the house like something swinging into it rhythmically- my dad would go out with a flashlight and look around.
Of course there was nothing. Sometimes when it was quite you would hear a deck of cards shuffling. These things and more happened diminishing later on in life as I got into my 20's.
