I used to live in rental house on Cummings Road. It was a very beautiful two-story house. My husband and I would always hear knocking on our garage door. We would check and find no one. We did not think anything of it until one day.
We just came back from our vacation in Florida and our neighbor came by to say hello. He didn't know that we were away for the long weekend. He asked who the young red-haired boy was staying with us during the past weekend.

said one night he took out the trash and this little boy was smiling and waving at him from our upstairs bedroom window. We told him the house was empty
|
and no one was house-sitting for us. We didn't stay in the house for long because of all the sounds and shadows that we couldn't figure out they were coming from.
We moved out three months later.
