I live on Union Place in Newton, NJ. We moved here about four years ago in 2013. When my oldest son helped me unload the car he went in the basement and then told me that my new house was haunted. Since that day we have had technical interruptions, voices at late night, whispering, and a child laughing. Our washer and dryer are in the basement. One day I was doing late night laundry, and I felt a presence in the room. I turned around and saw a woman dressed

in colonial clothing. She was hiding a child behind her. I could see her very clearly.
Finally the next morning I had the courage to go into the

small room off the boiler room where the fluorescent bulbs kept burning out. In there was a broken rocking chair, and it was slowly rocking. I wish I knew who lived here and died here, so I could help them. I feel as though they were locked down here and left to die, but why? That was my first vision as to what happened.
