I lived on Spring Street. We used to hear giggles, when no one was giggling, and hear our names called only to find no one was calling us. One afternoon myself and my 12-year-old daughter witnessed a child ghost. And so the situation happened like this. I was cleaning and doing laundry, while awaiting the arrival of my mother-in-law who was picking up my 7 and 4 year for a visit. Grandma had come in and off went the 2 younger girls. Still cleaning, I was getting ready to vacuum, and out of the corner of my eye saw my youngest (or so I thought) on the floor with My little Ponies, which I just had helped her clean up. Without turning around I said ''(her name) Hunny, I just helped you pick those up. You see, I am going to vacuum. ''

My oldest daughter also glanced from across the room from the kitchen, and again turned back and while finishing sweeping, said to (who she also thought was her sister) ''Come on (her name) I'll help you. About one minute later my oldest asked where the youngest sister was. I said ''I don't know. I didn't see her get up. She should be picking up the ponies. '' Then it dawned on the both of us at the same time. The blonde haired little girl we had just seen could not have been the youngest sister. She had already left with grandma. We only saw her that once and had only lived there for a short time. We never felt threatened but always had to look twice to make sure we were in fact talking to the youngest.

Back in the 1980s I lived in the Newton Highrise Apartments on Mill Street with my two children. One day while the girls were eating peanut and jelly sandwiches off of the kitchen area I was standing in the kitchen. I looked over toward the sink in the corner and saw a white mist shaped like an inverted question mark. It was life size. I was taken aback, but my girls were there, and I didn't want them to see what I saw. It was not still but was moving. It was an odd shape. It didn't resemble a person or anything. It was made of smoke. It was stationary, but the white smoke kept running through some kind of clear see-through form. After that incident I never saw it again. .
