There's a baseball diamond in Joe Palaia Park where you can sometimes hear a ball being hit in the middle of the night when there's no one there. The sound comes from the outfield, not where you would expect it.
If you just hear it from afar you wouldn't react, but if you're right there you'll be like what the hell! You really have to experience it for yourself to understand it. It's really freaky.
