The ''creepy house'' on the corner of cemetery hill (the real name is Glenwood cemetery)... If you're referring to the huge stone half-built building with no roof? It wasn't a house. It was a mausoleum.
It was torn down around November of 1999. The original idea if I recall correctly which I may not was to handle to overflow of bodies anticipated from some war. I want to say Vietnam but I may be wrong.
However funds dwindled and the mausoleum

was left unfinished. As per usual local kids and teenagers artists homeless people and drinkers/druggies used the place at will. It was impossible to

see into the building from the road and if you knew how to get inside you had a relatively safe hang-out space.
There were beautiful paintings on the inside wall poetry graffiti altars and offerings. It was used by so many people some well some poorly. But the building deteriorated from exposure and after a last terrible incident involving the desecration of a corpse the building was finally torn down.
