I used to live in 1440 won't say when, but I often had experiences.

My brother took classes at the Ducret School of Arts on Central Avenue and said it had a friendly ghost with some harmless poltergeist activity. He said it does minor things like moving people's keys or phones when they put them down on a table and then putting them back a few minutes later when people gets annoyed. A few times it's made the lights flicker or turned lights off while people were using them. He said he asked a classmate and people, and they said the ghost is either the original owner of the house where the school is located or someone close to them.

My first encounter with anything paranormal was I was at the age of seven. I sat in bed watching TV, but my gaze was quickly moved to this figure of a man coming out of the closet. In this bedroom there were two closets each at the opposite direction of each other. When I saw this man he came out of the right closet. He briefly stared at me and turned his gaze to the other closet. He walked slowly towards the left closet, opened it, entered the closet, and closed the door.

I was so shocked. I was frozen in place, but tears came down my cheeks as I forced myself to run towards my mom. She did not believe me, and from that day forward I couldn't be alone in that room for a long period of time. About eleven months after this incident I was again alone in the same room. I sat in bed using my tablet, and now in front of the bed was a big shelf. As I used the tablet, I looked up just to see stuff from the shelf flying out and barely missing me. I was shocked, and once again I was frozen in place.
After twenty seconds of items flying across the room, I then noticed the gigantic shelf falling down towards me. Quickly the eight-year-old me managed to throw herself out of reach from the shelf. About four years later I switched my bedroom with my brother. He took the bedroom I experienced all this as I took the bedroom which was a hallway away from the room.
I sometimes would sleep late at night, and when I did I would hear things from down the hall. Sometimes at 12-3AM I would hear as if someone was washing dishes. Other times I heard water dripping, plates breaking, and the worst of all singing. I later discovered I wasn't the only one experiencing these things.
