The Cameron Park Pond is very pretty and all but there is a dark secret lurking underneath the calm water of the pond. About 10 or 11 years ago this really sick group of kids tied a weight to a dog and threw him in the pond just for fun.
Since then the pond has been haunted by this dog. Sometimes when you're there you will hear a bark from the pond but there's no dog in sight. I have heard the dog myself and it's real. You hear the barking coming clearly
