keep away from this place at all cost. I've tried exorcists to cast out whatever is living in those woods. All I can say is Sparta is haunted.

A young lady drowned in Lake Mohawk when I was a kid. I remember it clearly although it was such a long time ago. I was part of the curious crowd that had gathered to witness the retrieval of the body.

I have regretted that ever since. The body was covered and we were kept at a distance but when I saw that covered body I got an incredibly cold chill going through me. It felt like I was stabbed with icicles.

I had nightmares for years. Years later when I was a teenager I took some friends to the spot to show them where this had happened and when I did I felt that same painful cold chill again. And then the lady who had drowned appeared in front of all of us.
She was just standing there for a few seconds and then faded away. My friends saw it too and we all freaked out and ran. I have never been back since and I don't plan to either.
