It was about 6 or 7 years ago. I was lying in my bed in my house on South Lane in Vernon. It was about 2:30 to 3:00 in the morning on the Halloween night. I heard this evil laughing racing in the wind. It went right past my window. It was evil and scared the hell out of me.

While riding a dirt bike with my son in 1995 we came across a man riding a very nice dark gray horse in a Civil War uniform, full dress with sword and gun. All you would expect in a full dress soldier.

We stopped the dirt bike and walked up not to startle the horse. We stopped to admire how magnificent the horse was -- one of the best I have ever known. Anyway we asked what the man was doing in the woods.
He stated he was practicing for an event. Expecting that and being done petting the horse we started to walk up the trail as not to startle the horse again. As we passed I had reached 20 ft or so and turned around to see the man and how far away we had come; only to find him gone.
We had a full view in every direction. As far as eyes could see, and nothing, even my young son could only say the same thing. We just talked to a ghost in a Civil War uniform, so if you run across him ask as many questions as you can.
