A date would be nice. I'm an older lad. If ya take reservoir to the end, there's some woods. Well back in the early 80s we had groups of teens hanging out behind a high school. From out of know where on the ball field this haze would appear. Then it gets brighter where it would move so fast across the field. Before ya knew it it was making its way into the woods . There were few hundred kids waiting on it just to lose it in the woods. The paper got

involved. It's was the Wallington ghost.

It was around 6 pm when I was talking my nightly walk on Main Street by the river. That night I experienced something I will never forget. There was a park bench and a table at the park opposite the corner of Main and Reservoir. I saw that it was empty when I was about 50 yards away, but once I got closer there were a couple sitting there looking very sad towards Reservoir Avenue.
As I got closer to them I could see that the girl was crying. Then there was this very cold breeze coming from nowhere, but I felt it. I looked at them, and somehow this sadness came over me. Then the couple gradually vanished into thin air right in front of my eyes. I didn't feel frightened, just sorry for them even though I don't know why. Has anyone experience this? Could there be an accident at this intersection where a couple was involved? Please share.
