Some out-of-town gangsters dumped a dead body in Hartung Lake a number of years back. They had killed some other gangster and they decided to dump the body there in Hartung Lake. Ever since then the lake has been haunted by the ghost of the dead gangster.
There have been several sightings of a man presumed to be the dead gangster showing up along the lake's edge and then disappearing again within the blink of an eye. I don't know more detail on
