A fishing boat went down in a storm about 50 years ago and debris washed up on the beach. I was a kid back then and I found a piece of the boat and took it home as a souvenir. That same night one of the dead fishermen appeared in my house.
The next day I took the piece of wood back where I found it and left it there. I've always wondered if I did the right thing or if I should have kept it.
