This is going back about 13 years or so my buddy and I were taking a hike to meet some friends out in the monastery fields one night. ( just to hang and play guitars) we entered the fields on the left end (back to monastery) came down the dirt road and went right.

About 70-100 yards through the field we were walking behind each other and a man appears out of nowhere walking in the opposite direction. He was dressed of a different time period and very rough around the edges.

I remember it like it happened yesterday brim hat walking staff and big beard he approached said good evening and passed I turned back just after he passed and not even a shadow of him. My friend and I didn't say anything and kept walking got to our friends and hours later my buddy said to me did you see a guy just appear out of nowhere walking in make sound and just vanish I replied yea it was strange.
He agreed it was. Then he said did he seem like he wasn't from this era and he could tell my by facial expression we both thought it was ghost.
