The house was definitely haunted. There was an apparition of an old lady in her night gown which would go up and down the stairs silently a few times a night. We all saw her both, my parents and my brother. I was in boy scouts and our camping trip got rained out. The scoutmaster dropped a bunch of us off. When I pointed out my house he turned pale and asked ''have you ever seen the old woman who walks up and down     the stairs?'' His grandmother had lived there, and he remembered seeing the ghost as a child and his grandmother joked about having a roommate. He didn't want to come inside though we offered many times. Submitted by Scott        Categories: camping, children, lady, man Sightings of a woman in a white shirt and black pants occur just before evening under the Aston viaduct Rt 116 bridge in Lincoln/Cumberland. She is usually seen from a distance by walkers or bike riders who use the bike path that runs under the bridge. Fishermen have spotted her as well. Within seconds she is gone. It is believed it is the unsettled spirit of a young woman who jumped to her death several years ago. She was a distraught waitress who just left work.
