I did not see a ghost. I heard the following while in the Pawtucket library 4 / 14/2010. I was alone in the fiction area on the first floor reading. I started to hear a dripping noise (popping) that got louder over 10 seconds.
Then I started to hear a woman's voice whispering. (note- the staff at the library does not whisper. In fact they are rather loud. ) I heard this 3 times over the 2 hours that I sat there. I could not tell what was being

said.
There was no one with me. I kept looking for someone around. But the voice repeated three times over two hours. The length of what I heard was

the same each time. The sound was coming from the same location.
(1st floor in the fiction room to the left corner where the book shelves are against the front window area. ) this was my first visit to this library.
