When living in Riverside I lived on Washington Street. It used to be and old hotel back in the day and the house across the street was a saloon I was told. It was before 195 was built and people used to come over by boat and bring their horses with them.
The house I lived in was supposedly an ''establishment''. I lived in this house 2 years . One night I went to sleep and awoke paralyzed with fear there was something at the end of my bed with red glowing eyes.

Then I realized it was a black cat. It scared the daylights out of me. It was growling and making creepy sounds and it jumped on my head.
This happened

three times. It was so frightening I slept with the lights on for two weeks and moved out. Know some crappy things must have happened in that house but I can never find anything out about that house.
Wish I could but always come up empty handed. I do know that house always seems to be for sale.
