My dad has this friend who wanted to show his daughters his new office at his new job one winter night. So he parked his car in the snowy parking lot. One of his daughters said who's that grumpy lady up in the window? He said that's probably just the cleaning lady, so they went upstairs into his office and saw her looking through the window still. ''hi sorry I just wanted to show my kids my new office,'' he said. She didn't say anything. Instead she walked right pass him and went right out the door. He went after her, and she was gone. It was impossible that she could have left because first of all there was only one way out; through the very long hallway. Also there was no other cars out in the parking lot. Lastly there was no other foot prints in the snow. The father of the kids called his boss after that and said ''do you have a cleaning lady or someone who come into the office at night?'' The boss replied ''no, no one goes into the building at night.''. Submitted by Lilly

Back in 1996 after visiting a friend that lived on Pawtucket ave I was leaving the driveway that would lead me directly on to Pawtucket ave. As I approached the main Rd I looked to my left and saw a woman that looked to be in her late 20's early 30's and she had a white tank top and what looked to be dark sweat pants and a baseball cap.

The thing that really got my attention was her eyes were closed and stayed closed as if she was waiting for me to turn onto Pawtucket ave. I waited to see if she would open her eyes but she didn't and at that point I turned left on my way and she stepped off the curb with her eyes still closed and proceeded on her way without ever opening her eyes. To this day it haunts me because I don't know what I saw that night. Submitted by anonymous

A woman believed to be Captain Willet's wife has a green glow to her sits near a tree (that has been cut down) on the hill near his grave in Little Neck Cemetery on Halloween night looking toward the water waiting for her husband to arrive on his ship.
