About five years ago I took my girlfriend into Fort Barton. It's got small hiking trails, good nature walk. I had just returned from my four years in the Marine Corps after two deployments to Afghanistan. I am a pretty good hyper focused observer to say the least.
About evening it got dark and we got lost. As we tried to find trail markers in the moon light, I saw a large figure with two legs run across the trees at a distance. The amount of

ground in a thickly settled area this being covered was alarming. Again as a combat vet, I'm not scared by much ESP being a licensed concealed carrier.

I saw that night alarmed me that I put one hand on her upper back pushing her through prickers and all towards a light in the distance and firearm drawn in other hand. We made our own path ending up in someone's back yard . I felt safer walking on a open road than on a trail to my car even if it added 2 miles to my walk.
I don't know what it was but the size it was and how it covered so much ground so fast and quietly was insane. I have wondered
