I had a childhood friend who lived on Market Street in the 1970s. His family was in a local paper because his parents found a picture that had a ghost face in a TV in the background. The article didn't use their names but referred to the family as the ''s'' family.
The parents were into the occult and numerous paranormal incidents happened there. I have tried to research the incident in past archives but can't find anything. Hopefully one of your

older readers know something about it. It was a big deal back then.

Comment by S: April 22nd, 1979 Providence Sunday journal. The author is Tom Gannon. It is in a section called Weekend Magazine. The story leaves out a lot of what really happened in the house.
