I have seen a young man in army clothing standing and looking at the water at the pond and felt him to be a ghost of a local who died in Vietnam. His spirit returned for one more look at his childhood fishing spot.

Comment by Sean: I lived in Wood River Junction since I was 7 years old, and the pond I believe you're referring to is Meadowbrook. I have yet to see anything there, but there's definitely something on the property where I lived. I have since moved. There is also a ghost reported to go to the post office and can be seen putting mail in the blue drop box.
