Yankton: If you guys are really looking for somewhere to investigate talk to the administrator at the Yankton human services center. I don't know if he is the person to talk to or if he can even give you permission to look around but the old buildings at the insane asylum have a lot of history.
They are probably going to be destroyed someday with the exception of the Meade building. They are going to turn it into the Dakota territorial museum. Good luck!.
