I used to live there when I was a baby my grand parents lived there also that house was in the family for years. I had a pic of my grandmother as a young woman sitting on the front step and I got married in my mothers bed room at the age of thirty 28yrs ago. My mom still lives in Albany on new Street Mr and Mrs. Chadwick bought the home.
Mr Chadwick was my principle at the school he was the one that married Bob and I. Email me my mom has a lot of history

Hayden house on the main road between Albany and Craftsbury, this place is haunted! When I was in high school my friends and I heard about the haunted house in Albany so we drove over the mountain to check it out.
When we got to the house it looked like no one had lived there in years. We drove into the driveway and went to the front door. I tried the door handle it wouldn't turn so I knocked. It was a very hot sunny summer day suddenly as we were about to leave the door slowly opened and there stood a very tall,about 6'2'' thin older man with very white skin and thin white hair wearing a dark colored old fashion suit.
The air coming from the inside of the house was as cold as a winters day. I said,'' is this the haunted house? '' he replied that he had never heard of such a place and closed the door in my face. We all looked at each other and a very heavy feeling came over us so we left at once.
