While staying at the Whitney Inn I woke up twice once to a man in uniform pointing a gun to his head. Another time to a woman screaming. I was home alone at the house with my aunt and uncle sleeping in the bedroom down the hall. When I woke up to these strange occurrences I could hear my family snoring asleep in their room. While in howel's campground, I was walking back from there towards home, and when I was looking for my cell phone, I heard a scuttering, and saw a woman in white running across the road towards the house on the breaking of the woods.
When I finally got home (which was on the back of the pond) , all I heard was screaming. As a full blown Vermonter, I can tell the difference between a woman and a bobcat. It wasn't a bobcat.

Comment by Sydney: Hi I'm Sydney granddaughter of Gloria who owns Howell's camping area. I have lived in the campground all my life and have been out all hours of the night in said campground. I have never once seen or heard that ever. I have known the rec hall and the bathhouse is haunted that I can guarantee, but this sighting I have never seen. No one else has said anything to me, my father, my 2 brothers, or my grandmother about this. So, I am sorry to say but this cannot be true otherwise I would've seen or heard of it.
