K. I looked under the shower curtains to look for feet of the showers that were closed but saw none. So finally I opened all the closed shower curtains and as I opened the last one the crying stopped and so did the running water that I had herd the whole time.
I should note that I had never heard any stories about the dorm being haunted until a few months latter during Halloween when I red an article in the college news letter about haunted places

on campus.

About a quarter mile south of Castleton State College is an area just off south st on the old Delaware-hudson railway lies tracks that branch off that led to the old staso quarry. In this area screams can be heard only at night.
Some believe it is of a young lady that was brutally murdered in the late 1800's. It was believed she was draggged down the tracks by unknown entity that led her to her horrific demise.
