Castleton State College: I want to preface this with the fact that I had never heard about this ''penelope'' story. Despite the following events I will share with you I still question my belief in ghosts or supernatural beings.
I lived in Ellis hall about 4 years ago. My dorm bedroom shared the wall to the 3rd floor women's bathroom. I was taking a shower early in the morning (around 6 or 7 am) and as I drew the shower curtain into the second ''changing room area I saw a flash of a female from the shoulders up- nobody no shirt dark short hair and squinty eyes.

She had wet hair and I thought I was just imagining it- the only thing that made me truly frightened was that when I saw the flash my heart actually skipped a beat and I had goose bumps all over me immediately.

I didn't mention this to anyone because I didn't think much of it and thought maybe I was a little more tired than I imagined. A few weeks later my roommate was talking about ''penelope'' and I immediately got goose bumps all over my arms and neck like before.
I told her what I saw she laughed as did I and I was still unsure about what I did or did not see that morning. The second instance which was far more frightening occurred in the middle of the night around 3 or 4 am in my dorm room.
I woke up and I was so afraid I had no idea why- I felt like there was something in my room I was sort of paralyzed. My heart was pounding very loud and I thought I was dreaming. I stared into the room- but I felt like I could not and should not close my eyes.
