I had a ghost sighting outside my house. I was getting ready to go to bed, and a glowing green apparition who was wearing old clothes that a soldier would wear when he went to war. He was looking in through the porch window. It saw me and waved. I looked away and looked back, and it was gone. Later on I found an article in a newspaper about a family that lived in the area. I figured out it was the ghost of Nathanael who was in the military and may have died in war or died from wounds later on and remained in the area.

When I was at Castleton we had a couple scary situations. One was at the battlefield nearby. We went there to drink and look at the stars when one night a light shined out in the battlefield. We didn't even question it; we just left. Another day some girls thought their room was haunted. They were using a Ouija board. They said their closets would open, and they would hear things. I jumped on the Ouija board, and the spirit would not communicate. We asked the board why, and then it spelled out because I was there. I must have scared the spirit away because they never heard of the spirit again. I feel that I feel that I have a number of guardian angels with me, and they scare away the evil spirits.

Once while walking on the rail trail I was past the soccer fields but not quite to where it opens up when I heard some vague creepy sounds which I could not describe or place. Then I felt extreme chills and goose bumps so bad that I could not even move and felt very cold.
I looked right as I felt a gaze from that direction but saw nothing. I began to walk looking everywhere in my fear, and then heard maniacal high pitched laughter to my right. I assumed someone was messing with me but the laughter did not sound entirely human.
