My mom lives in Saxtons River and her house was haunted !! It was the first house built in Saxtons River .. At night when we all were kids you would here chains clinking and thumps and stomping on the stairs and the doors would blow open after you closed them and my friends wouldn't stay upstairs and neither would the dog, he would whimper and bark and bark ..
The noises stopped when the walls had to be redone ...

I lived in Bellows Falls and then my mom dies in the house and now I go by the old house I see her satnding in the window at Halloween that her day of the of the that she got married and she waveing to me every time I go by it bugs me they don't tell you when you want to buy a house a persoin died in it.
