interested in the paranormal. I've read the books on them. Any house that can be turned sideways along with the basement at night while everyone inside was asleep is definitely worth reading about.
In the opinion of all the residents of Chittenden VT we have the highest ghost concentration of any place in the state- perhaps the country. There are countless sightings and occurrences that happen and are never talked about.

Comment by anonymous: I have letters from a Samuel Parker who lived in Chittenden near the Eddy's in the mid 1800's; Samuel sent the letters to his uncle in Minnesota and this uncle was my 2nd great grandfather. He describes some of the strange happenings in the old letters.
He eventually became a follower of that spiritualism movement.

Comment by LM: I have stayed at the Eddy House many times, and aside from the odd footstep sounds I heard once I have not experienced anything. However, a couple I know has seen an apparition of a woman.
