When I was around 13, my mom and my toddler-aged little sister and I lived with our two cats and German Shepherd, Chico, in a three-story 1800s converted blacksmith shop in North Hyde Park, Vermont on Ferry Street. My mom and I and our family and friends that visited all had paranormal experiences there. While living there we were restoring the building, and we had a great respect for the house and its property, and nothing that occurred seemed violent

or malevolent; it was just unnerving at the time. Through research we came to believe that the presence was Edward, the blacksmith that once owned and

worked in the building.
Starting from the bottom, the house had a basement that I never went into, though my mom did. The first floor was a family room, the size of the whole house with the back having a separate laundry and tool room. The second floor had the kitchen, living room, my little sister's room and a bathroom. The third floor was a converted attic with my room and my mom's room at either end and a closet and office between them. There are
