I was driving home on Main Street one evening at around 7:30 when I saw an old lady waving at me. It was at the entrance to the park. To me she looked like she was the same age as my grandma, and she looked like she was hitch hiking, which was very strange for a lady her age.
I stopped and talked to her. She said she didn't need a ride, but she wanted to know where the fire station was. I told her I could take her there since it was very close

and just down the road from where we were.
She said she wanted to walk and needed the exercise anyway. I said goodbye and left. I drove off and felt
|
compel to come back and check on her. It was only about 2 or 3 minutes from when I left her that I came back.
She was still there standing by the road. As I approached her and was slowing down, she vanished. Just like that, and I couldn't believe my eyes.
