An age old home where I grew up in Poultney has been haunted by friendly spirits for as long as I have lived there. Footsteps heard throughout the house while everyone else is asleep cupboards and doors opening on there own lights turning on and off on there own..

suicide that I know of a one room school house in the back that is no longer there dentist office funeral home.

to be. Spirit we named Charlie. He was a friendly one :) old newspaper clippings rattle made of bone old pics are some of the things we found imn walls.. Maybe when the noises started :) happy Halloween.

Comment by Mary: I would think that this would be one of the Elms . There was one on Main St and one on College St. I worked at the one on College St. Night shift .
